Job summary

Aureate Group is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee all on-site operations for commercial construction projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, medical facilities, warehouses, and mixed-use developments.

You will supervise field activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, enforce safety protocols, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction with at least 4 in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Experience with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
• U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States (proof required).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with OSHA and local building codes
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, reporting progress and issues to the project manager
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards
• Resolve field issues promptly to minimize delays
• Maintain detailed daily logs and documentation of project activities
• Conduct and lead on-site meetings with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
• Ensure proper maintenance and security of the job site and equipment

Requirements

• Ten (10) plus years of experience in construction, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project)
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug screening, background check, and reference check
• Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around a construction site for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs as needed
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
