Job summary

Aureate is seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee all on-site operations for commercial construction projects in Oakland, FL. You will supervise field crews, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, enforce safety protocols, and keep projects on time and within budget.

You will read and implement drawings, manage schedules, monitor budgets, and lead on-site meetings with stakeholders. A minimum of ten years in construction with at least four in supervision is required, along with OSHA 30 and

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in construction with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project).
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain.
• Must pass pre-employment medical exam, drug screening, background check, and references.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Construction, the Project Superintendent oversees all on‑site operations for commercial construction projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, medical facilities, warehouses, and mixed‑use developments. The Superintendent is responsible for supervising all field activities, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Physical Requirements
