Job description

Project Superintendent – Own a high-visibility K-12 Project

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Let’s be direct — if you’re a high-performing Superintendent, you already have a job.

The question is: do you have one that’s actually worth staying for?

Miller Davis is looking for a proven Project Superintendent to take the lead on a high-visibility, K-12 program — not just running a job, but owning it from start to finish.

This isn’t a plug-and-play role. This is for someone who wants control, complexity, and long-term impact.

Why Top Superintendents Make the Move
  • Stability without stagnation – Stay in one geographic area while leading evolving phases of work
  • Real influence – You’re not just executing… you’re driving decisions, relationships, and outcomes
  • High-visibility work – Projects that the entire community sees and remembers
  • A company that backs its field leaders – not one that buries them in red tape
What You’ll Own

You’ll run the job. Period.

  • Full onsite leadership from pre-con through closeout
  • Directing field teams, subcontractors, and daily operations
  • Driving schedule, sequencing, and jobsite performance
  • Managing relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners
  • Controlling quality, safety, and cost execution
  • Leading complex, phased construction in active environments
  • Making decisions that keep projects moving — not waiting on them
Who This Is Built For

This role is for a Superintendent who:

  • Has 5+ years leading projects in the field and knows how to command a jobsite
  • Thrives in complex, multi-phase or occupied environments
  • Doesn’t need hand-holding — but expects trust and accountability
  • Solves problems fast, communicates clearly, and pushes work forward
  • Wants more than "just another project" — and is ready to prove it
What You Get in Return
  • A high-impact assignment — not a revolving door of short projects
  • Autonomy and trust to lead the way you know works
  • Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match
  • PTO, holidays, and professional development support
Let’s Talk

If you’re comfortable where you are, this probably isn’t for you.

But if you’re the kind of Superintendent who wants more ownership, better projects, and a company that actually values field leadership — we should talk.
