Pirtle Construction is seeking a Superintendent to join our South Florida team. The ideal candidate will oversee all field operations and subcontractors at the project site.

The role involves coordinating field activities, ensuring compliance with construction documents, supervising safety, and managing daily staffing and materials to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinateallconstructionfieldactivitiesamongsubcontractorsandotherindividuals/companiesinvolvedwiththeproject.
• HaveastrongknowledgeoftheConstructionDocumentsandensurethatconstructioncomplieswiththesedocuments.
• Superviseprojectsafetyandensureallworkersonsitecomplywithsafetyrequirementsandtheprojectsafetyplan.
• Assessdailystaffingofsubcontractorsandfieldworkforce.
• Assessthedailysupplyofmaterialsandequipment.Trackvendordeliveriesofmaterialstoavoiddelaysandon-sitematerialloss.
• Participateindevelopingtheprojectscheduleandprovidetheinformationneededtocreate,monitor,andmodifyitonacontinuingbasis.
• CoordinatewiththeProjectManagertodevelopandadministerthesiteutilizationprogram,siteservices,safetyplan,andsecurityarrangementsnecessaryfortheproject.
• Monitoractualversusrequiredperformancebyallpartiesanddeterminewhethersubcontractorsprovideasufficientworkforceandhoursofworktoachieveperformancecommitments.
• Maintainthoroughfamiliaritywiththegeneralcontractrequirementsandensurethattherequirementsareadheredto.
• Responsibleforensuringthatfieldworkisperformedwithahighstandardofqualityandinanefficientmanner.
• Maintaindailyprogressreportsandconductweeklyjobsitesafetymeetings.

POSITIONSCOPEANDORGANIZATIONALIMPACT

TheSuperintendentwillcollaboratewiththeprojectteamtoplan,schedule,organize,anddirecttheconstructionoflarge-scaleeducation,residential,municipal,andcommercialprojects.

ESSENTIALJOBDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES
