Job summary

Urban Infraconstruction is seeking a Project Superintendent responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations on assigned construction projects. This role will lead field crews, subcontractors, and vendors while coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will supervise foremen and laborers, develop schedules with the Project Manager, and ensure work adheres to plans and contracts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field experience, preferably in heavy civil.
• Experience reading construction plans and coordinating multiple crews.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily field operations from project start through completion.
• Supervise foremen, operators, laborers, subcontractors, and other field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Conduct daily pre-task planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across the project.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, materials, and production to maintain project efficiency.
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure proper execution of work.
• Assist with resolving field conflicts, RFIs, and constructability issues.
• Support project closeout activities and ensure work is completed according to contract requirements.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to field personnel.

• Previous experience as a Superintendent, General Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Experience managing crews, subcontractors, equipment, and multiple field activities.
• Ability to identify problems in the field and develop practical solutions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
