Job description

REED Construction, a rapidly growing full‑service construction firm with expertise in general contracting and design‑build, is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our team.

Job Description

• Provide strong leadership, maintaining effective working relationships with project staff to ensure a positive on‑site morale.
• Display a thorough understanding of project specifications.
• Organize, delegate and oversee all on‑site work being done by subcontractors and coordinate all on‑site trade work.
• Obtain any necessary permits or licenses.
• Ensure safety and security of each job site. Coordinate and host site walk‑throughs, OSHA inspections and more; immediately prompt any corrective actions indicated by reports of these agencies.
• Attend scheduled meetings with project management staff, clients, architects and other partners.
• Utilize project management software to provide real‑time data so that the project management staff can make timely and informed decisions. This includes use of Procore, On‑Screen Takeoff, PM Web Solutions and more.
• Maintain good relations and communication with everyone involved in a project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a superintendent role preferred, experience with corporate/commercial interiors and/or healthcare plus.
• Committed to producing high‑quality work, striving for a zero punch list on every project.
• Ability to effectively lead an on‑site project team and work toward multiple deadlines at once; act as a coach and mentor to on‑site staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with project management software is a plus (Procore, On‑Screen Takeoff, PM Web Solutions, etc.).
