Job summary

Kluber Architects + Engineers in Aurora, IL is seeking a Project Structural Engineer/Designer to contribute to structural design and development. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to create safe, efficient, and code-compliant systems for diverse projects.

The role involves leading smaller projects and supporting larger efforts under supervision. The position requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, ETABS,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 6 years of structural engineering experience.
Proficiency in structural design software (Revit, ETABS, RAM, TEDS, AutoCAD).
Knowledge of building codes and standards.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
SE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop structural design solutions for steel, concrete, timber, and hybrid systems.
Prepare conceptual layouts and analysis using Revit, ETABS, TEDS, RAM.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and MEP teams.
Produce detailed structural drawings and schedules.
Perform load calculations and modeling under supervision.
Review documents to resolve structural conflicts.
Support client meetings and project presentations.
Stay current with industry trends and sustainable practices.
Mentor junior staff as needed.
