Job summary

Con Edison is seeking a Project Specialist to provide leadership and EH&S support to the Shared Services organization, ensuring that construction, waste management, field operations, and the maintenance of energy systems are conducted safely and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company procedures.

The role works closely with Operations personnel and leadership to advance a culture of zero harm and 100% compliance across the company.

Job description

The Project Specialist is responsible for providing leadership and environmental, health & safety (EH&S) support to the Shared Services organization to ensure that work activities, including construction, waste management, field operations (e.g., warehousing, automotive repairs, facilities management, and fleet operations), and the maintenance and retirement of our energy systems, are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Company procedures and protocols. The Project Specialist works closely with Operations personnel and leadership to support the Companys commitment to EH&S Excellence and advance a culture of zero harm and 100% compliance.

This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
