Project Specialist- Client Orders (Remote)

Project Specialist- Client Orders

This Project Specialist role involves participating in divisional kickoff and status calls throughout the project process to evaluate processes and assist with data alignment to permit proper billing. The specialist will verify data received, conduct root cause assessments on issues and defects, and provide findings with possible resolutions. The position includes engaging in special projects while completing data tasks with minimal guidance. Projects span multiple Labcorp functional areas and external clients, impacting customer satisfaction and claim success. The specialist will maintain current, accurate project status, issues, and impacts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders according to SOPs.

The specialist will also develop and maintain clear process/documentation for the intended audience.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate analytical skills by identifying trends and abnormalities.
  • Be detail-oriented to identify and communicate issues impacting processes, maintaining output integrity and quality.
  • Compose clear, professional email communications to colleagues at various levels, providing updates and alerts.
  • Adapt to changing environments, duties, priorities, and SOPs.
  • Maintain SOPs and contribute to process improvements. Ensure documentation is archived and backed up appropriately.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of progressive experience, preferably in a project or process-oriented role within healthcare.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel/Access, macros, pivot tables, charts, and graphs.
  • Experience with Labcorp RCM (preferred), understanding its tools and processes.

Application Window Closes: 5-14-25

Pay Range: $16.80-28.85/hr (higher rates apply if state minimum wages are higher)

Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST

Employment offers are based on skills, experience, degrees, certifications, and market data.

Benefits: Employees working 20+ hours/week are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Less than 20 hours/week employees are eligible for 401(k) only. More info available on the benefits site.
