We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Project Service Technician II covering the Modesto/Lathrop/Sacramento/Stockton service area. The Project Service Technician II reports to a Service Supervisor and is responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of restaurant equipment, including cooking equipment, refrigeration units, heating and air conditioning systems, ice machines and other mechanical items.

*Candidates must live within 30-mile radius from service area.

General Responsibilities

  • Inspect, clean, descale and sanitize Ice Machines and drink stations
  • Inspect A/C filters, belts, blower assemblies, and clean refrigeration coils
  • Inspect kitchen equipment for wear/tear and proper operation
  • Inspect overall condition of roof and surrounding areas
  • Travel to Store locations throughout service area
  • Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
  • Schedule: Four (4) 10-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends
  • Hours: 1:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
  • Occasional overnight travel (8-day runs when out-of-state)
  • Pay Range is $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
    The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications
  • EPA certification and HVAC certification; preferred
  • High School diploma required, some electrical coursework preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in refrigeration, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting and restaurant equipment repair; preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical
  • Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment using hand and/or power tools and use of a voltmeter
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid CA Driver’s License; required
