Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) is seeking a Program/Project Coordinator to support business leads in developing and maintaining initiatives. The role coordinates cross-functional projects, tracks milestones, and supports governance activities across the organization.

The candidate will assist in delivering initiatives, testing new software, and preparing governance roadmaps, while supporting executives with scheduling and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in project coordination.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication, written and presentation abilities.
• Proven ability to work both independently and in a team.

Job description

The role is responsible for supporting business leads in the development and maintenance of various initiatives. This role includes coordinating small-scale cross-functional projects and supporting larger-scale initiatives. The coordinator oversees the coordination and status reporting of cross-functional project work, governance activities, and tracking corporate goals. Support the delivery of initiatives and resolve issues through design, development, and implementation, aid in the administration of correspondence, participation, and ongoing implementation activities, and provide support to business and technical teams by testing functions of new software and delivery platforms. Coordinate team planning discussions and related outputs to develop a holistic governance process, develop roadmaps, identify key priorities, and track success measures Coordinate and report on the status of cross-functional project-oriented work efforts, track key project milestones, and report on corporate goals. Provide administrative support, including managing senior executives’ schedules, arranging meetings, and preparing materials, and support ad-hoc projects as needed.

The posting range for this position is: 65,400.00 - 94,800.00 Qualifications: Education Required Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. Experience Required 3+ Years three or more years of experience in project coordination Knowledge Skills and Abilities Proficient in MS Project and MS Office Suite. Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills. Team-oriented interpersonal skills.

Preferred: Demonstrates AI literacy and an understanding of generative AI tools, including appropriate business applications and limitations.

Certifications & Licenses Preferred: Professional, Academy for Health Care Management (PAHM) - AHIP
