Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc. within the Trinity Consultants team is seeking a Project Scientist to join our southwest team. The role performs field and laboratory data analysis, supports hydrologic investigations, and assists with modeling and reporting for domestic and international clients.

While ideally based in Tucson, AZ, local candidates to other West offices are encouraged to apply. The position involves collaboration with experts on mine closure, groundwater and surface water modeling, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a geoscience field.
• Master's degree preferred in a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of relevant environmental experience.
• Experience with mine closure, groundwater management, or hydrologic investigations preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in the Western U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on mine closure and hydrologic projects.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret field and laboratory data.
• Support modeling, reporting, and client communications.
• Conduct field investigations including borehole oversight and groundwater sampling.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and regulators.
