Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center invites applications for a Project Scientist in the Ergin Lab within the Department of Otolaryngology. Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree required with postdoctoral experience in inner ear research preferred.
• Experience performing auditory function tests (ABR/DPOAE) in mice preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cochlear injection techniques and mouse models under IACUC-approved protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on animal research including mouse breeding, cochlear surgeries, therapeutic delivery, and auditory testing.
• Develop, adapt and implement new experimental techniques and protocols.
• Analyze, interpret and summarize data; contribute to publications and presentations.
• Mentor trainees and support day-to-day lab operations under supervision.
