The company was co‑founded by Dr. En Li, formerly of the Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, and Dr. Zheng‑Yi Chen, whose academic work includes widely cited research on auditory function, gene therapy and gene editing, and hair cell regeneration.

Position 1 | Onsite | Full‑Time
Research Associate – Auditory Physiology and Hearing Research
Position Summary

Salubritas Therapeutics is developing regenerative therapies for sensorineural hearing loss. We are seeking a Research Associate with experience in auditory physiology and hearing research to support evaluation of therapeutic targets and drug candidates.

This role will contribute to functional hearing assessments and inner‑ear biology studies using animal models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform auditory testing in mouse models, including:
    • Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR)
    • Distortion Product Otoacoustic Emissions (DPOAE)
    • Waveform and amplitude analysis
  • Assist with cochlear dissections and tissue preparation.
  • Conduct imaging and histological analysis of inner ear structures.
  • Analyze and interpret auditory data sets.
  • Maintain detailed experimental records and support reporting of results.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Life Science, or related field.
  • Research experience with auditory physiology or hearing research techniques.
  • Experience working with mouse models of hearing loss under IACUC protocols.
  • Experience in functional hearing assessments by ABR.
Additional experience preferred
  • Cochlear dissection and gene expression analysis.
  • Microscopy and imaging analysis.
Position 2 | Onsite | Full‑Time
Research Associate – In Vivo Models & Drug Delivery
Position Summary

This role will support the design and execution of mouse studies evaluating gene therapy and therapeutic interventions targeting the inner ear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in vivo mouse studies, including surgical procedures, dosing, and anesthesia.
  • Support delivery of therapeutic candidates including AAV vectors, RNA and chemical compounds through injection techniques (e.g., cochlear delivery, IP dosing).
  • Conduct tissue collection, necropsy, and sample preparation for downstream analysis.
  • Maintain mouse colonies and assist with experimental planning and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with scientists to execute in vivo studies supporting therapeutic development.
  • Maintain accurate experimental records and contribute to data analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Hands‑on experience with mouse handling and in vivo experimental procedures, including mouse genetics or developmental biology, and organ or tissue dissection.
  • Familiarity with anesthesia, surgical techniques, or various injection methods.
  • Experience working under IACUC protocols.
Additional experience preferred
  • Cochlear or ocular injection techniques.
  • Ex vivo and in vitro culture procedures.
  • AAV gene therapy procedures.
  • Imaging and molecular analysis.

Compensation will include base salary, annual bonus target, and benefits. The starting salary range is $75,000 to $110,000.
