Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Engineer for the EPA START program in the New England region. The role involves leading field activities, data interpretation, and preparing reports while coordinating with clients on varied environmental projects.

Travel is primarily throughout New England. Required are 8+ years of relevant experience, a B.S. degree in a scientific field, and OSHA Hazwoper training.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a scientific discipline is required.
• 40-hour OSHA Hazwoper training.

Weston Solutions is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicatedSeniorEnvironmentalScientist, Geologist, or Engineerunder our highly successful US EPA START program. The selected candidate will be provided with a wide range ofleadershipopportunities and field experience to broaden their professional skills while working on unique assignments for our strategic Client. Our multidisciplinary team participates in a variety of projects under the EPA Removal and pre-Remedial programs, including hazardous waste site investigations, environmental assessments, removal actions, preparedness and prevention planning, emergency response to chemical and oil spills, and other technical assignments.

Travel is required mainly throughout New England.

Knowledge,Skills,and Abilities:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience and a B.S. degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Engineering or other scientific discipline is required.

• Direct on-scene experience with hazardous substances,and oil releases and spills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Solid organization skills,ownership,and accountability
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and anticipate team needs.
