About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced
Project Scheduler IVto join our dynamic Scheduling Group. This role supports large-scale projects in the electrical generation and facilities sectors, ranging from $2 billion to $4 billion in budget size. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including environmental, permitting, construction, and engineering managers, to develop and maintain project schedules that ensure timely and efficient execution.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules for large-scale projects ($2B-$4B).
- Collaborate effectively with environmental, permitting, construction, and engineering teams to integrate their input into project schedules.
- Perform resource and cost loading within project schedules to ensure accurate forecasting and tracking.
- Support EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) project scheduling activities.
- Participate in face-to-face and virtual meetings to present scheduling updates and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits across Michigan to gather real-time project data and support field operations.
- Ensure schedules comply with project scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in construction and/or electric generation industries.
- Proven expertise with large-scale projects ($50M+).
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Strong experience with resource and cost loading.
- Solid understanding of EPC project execution and scheduling methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the state of Michigan.
Preferred Qualifications- Relevant scheduling certifications (e.g., PMI-SP, PSP) are highly desirable.
- Background in electric generation and/or construction industries.
- Experience working within large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
