Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a Mid-Level Project Scheduler to support planning, scheduling, and execution of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects across the United States. You will work with project managers, field operations, and executives to maintain visibility into progress, risks, and opportunities.

Develop and maintain schedules in Primavera P6, produce baseline and progress updates, and contribute to forecast and earned value analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/PM or related field
• 3-7 years in project scheduling in construction/energy
• Strong Primavera P6 knowledge
• Understanding CPM scheduling
• Ability to read drawings, specs, contracts
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration
• Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365 proficiency

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Create baseline, resource-loaded, and progress update schedules.
• Coordinate schedule development with Project Managers, Superintendents, Construction Managers and subcontractors.
• Perform schedule updates and analyze progress against baseline plans.
• Identify critical path activities, schedule risks, float erosion, and potential delays.
• Support monthly forecasting earned value analysis, and executive reporting.
• Develop schedule recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
• Prepare schedule narratives, schedule variance reports, and key performance metrics.
• Participate in project planning meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessment sessions.
• Ensure schedule alignment with procurement, installation, commissioning, and client milestones.
• Generate look-ahead schedules and support field execution planning.
• Assist with delay analyses, change order evaluations, and claims documentation when required.
• Collaborate with project controls teams to integrate cost and schedule performance metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and standardization of scheduling processes.

We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Project Scheduler to support the planning, scheduling, and successful execution of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects throughout the United States.

This role is ideal for an experienced scheduler who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with project teams, and driving schedule performance from project award through closeout. You will play a critical role in helping project managers, field operations, and executive leadership maintain visibility into project progress, risks, and opportunities.

What You'll Do

As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules to support the successful delivery of utility-scale solar and renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
• Create baseline schedules, resource-loaded schedules, and progress update schedules.
• Coordinate schedule development with Project Managers, Superintendents, Construction Managers and subcontractors.
• Perform schedule updates and analyze progress against baseline plans.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• 3-7 years of project scheduling experience in construction, energy, infrastructure, industrial, or EPC environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling principles.
• Experience updating and maintaining detailed construction schedules.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting utility-scale solar, BESS, transmission, substations, or renewable energy construction projects.
• Knowledge of project controls methodologies and earned value management.
• Experience with resource loading and productivity analysis.
• Familiarity with schedule delay analysis techniques.
• Experience creating executive-level schedule dashboards and reports.
• PMI-SP, PSP (AACE), PMP, or related project controls certifications preferred.
