AbouttheRole

AsaScheduler,youwilldevelop,maintain,andanalyzeprojectschedulesthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.Workingcloselywithprojectmanagers,fieldoperations,andclients,youwillhelpidentifyschedulingrisks,monitorprogress,allocateresources,andprovideaccuratereportingthatsupportsinformeddecision-making.Thisroleisidealforsomeonewhothrivesinafast-pacedconstructionenvironmentandenjoyssolvingcomplexschedulingchallenges.

KeyResponsibilities

• Develop,review,andinterpretcontractschedulingrequirementstoensurecompliancewithprojectspecifications.
• Createandmaintainbaseline,resource-loaded,andprogressschedulesusingtheCriticalPathMethod(CPM).
• Assistinestablishingprojectcontrols,schedulingstandards,andreportingprocedures.
• Preparesummary-levelschedulegraphicsandexecutivereportsforinternalandclientpresentations.
• Attendprojectmeetingsandcollaboratewithprojectteamstoidentifycriticalandnear-criticalworkactivitiesnecessarytoachieveprojectmilestones.
• Developlogicalactivityrelationshipsandscheduleconstraintsthroughcoordinationwithprojectstakeholders.
• Monitorlabor,material,equipment,andcostresourceswithinprojectschedulesandprepareresourcehistogramsandcashflowforecasts.
• Analyzecriticalandnear-criticalpathactivitiesandidentifypotentialscheduleimpactsordelays.
• Evaluateprojectprogressandvalidatescheduleupdatesusinginputfromfieldpersonnelandinterdisciplinaryprojectteams.
• Recommendschedulerecoverystrategiesandmitigationplanswhennecessary.
• Maintainaccuratescheduledocumentationandprovidetimelyprogressreports.
• Performotherdutiesasassigned.

Qualifications

• Experiencepreparingandanalyzingconstructionschedulesisrequired.
• Experiencewithplanning,scheduling,projectcontrols,orprogramcontrolsacrossmultipleconstructionprojects.
• Demonstratedexperiencedevelopingresource-loadedconstructionschedulesusingtheCriticalPathMethod(CPM).
• Strongunderstandingofconstructionsequencing,means,methods,andprojectexecution.
• Experiencetracking,updating,expediting,andreportingprojectprogress.
• ProficiencywithPrimaveraP6,MicrosoftProject,andMicrosoftOfficeSuite(Word,Excel,andPowerPoint).
• Excellentanalytical,organizational,andtimemanagementskills.
• Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillswiththeabilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithclients,management,andprojectteams.
• Self-motivated,detail-oriented,andcapableofmanagingmultipleprioritieswithminimalsupervision.
• Professionaldemeanorwithstronginterpersonalandrelationship-buildingskills.
• ValidU.S.driver'slicensewithaninsurabledrivingrecord.
• Abilitytopasspre-employmentsubstanceabusetesting.
• Abilitytotravelandworkextendedhoursasprojectdemandsrequire.
