6–12 Month Contract with Opportunity to Convert Full-Time
I'm partnering with one of the industry's leading data center developers to find a Senior Project Scheduler who brings more than just scheduling experience. We're looking for someone who has spent time in the field and understands how construction is actually executed.
The ideal candidate has a background as a Superintendent, Construction Supervisor, Field Engineer, or Project Engineer before transitioning into scheduling or project controls. That field knowledge is critical to identifying schedule risks, validating progress, and keeping complex capital projects on track.
Review and analyze contractor schedules in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
Incorporate contractor schedules into the master project schedule
Build and maintain baseline schedules
Perform schedule health checks, logic reviews, and critical path analysis
Identify missing logic, improper constraints, float issues, sequencing conflicts, and schedule risks
Participate in weekly schedule coordination meetings with contractors and subcontractors
Spend time in the field validating progress and ensuring schedules reflect actual construction
Deliver clear, executive-level reporting and recommendations to improve project performance
Advanced Primavera P6 experience
Experience supporting large capital construction projects
Major MEP upgrades, replacements, or mission-critical projects
Strong CPM scheduling knowledge, including relationships, durations, lags, float, and critical path analysis
Experience reviewing contractor schedules, resource loading, and maintaining schedule integrity
Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and field teams
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in both the field and project controls and wants to work on a high-profile, mission-critical project with the potential to join QTS full-time after the initial contract.
