The Project Scheduler will manage the schedule for BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) and other Projects. The Project Scheduler will report to the Scheduling Manager and work hand in hand with the rest of the Project Control Team (Cost, Estimating and Document Control), project managers, project coordinators, procurement, and others. The position will have responsibility for all scheduling activities, from project inception to close out depending on Project scope.
The Project Scheduler will provide the necessary tools to proactively manage, control and report progress on the Project schedule. In addition, this information can be used to assist in the planning of manpower resources for projects across the organization. Services include: development of the schedule in the late stages of the proposal, refining the schedule to reflect the execution plan of the project and providing a baseline for measuring the performance during execution, identifying and resolving schedule impacts during execution and assisting project leads with the management of individual discipline manpower loading and forecasts. Coordinates with the Project Cost Controller to assure all impacts to the schedule are reflected in cost forecasts and prepares Earned Value reports. The Project Scheduler 1 is responsible to provide the necessary information for the Project Manager to successfully manage the time related issues on a given project.
