Job summary

Integrated Resources, Inc. is seeking a Project Scheduler with Primavera P6 experience for a 12+ month contract in Virginia. The role requires managing the master schedule for an EPC project, integrating submittals, and ensuring milestones are met.

Qualifications

• 5-6+ years of experience in construction scheduling for large industrial projects.
• Hands-on proficiency in Primavera (P6) required.
• Experience with Excel, MS Project, and Word.
• Must have experience with resource loading schedules, baseline schedules, TIAs, and EVMS reporting.
• Working knowledge of reading engineering/construction drawings.
• Ability to convert schedules between formats (P6 to MS Project).
• Strong schedule analysis, troubleshooting, and forecasting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and analyze the master project schedule (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Integrate owner schedule submittals into the master schedule and track milestones.
• Review critical path, relationships, constraints, and issues with the master schedule.
• Lead schedule representation and communicate issues to project team and management.
• Walk job site to verify weekly schedule progress with contractors.
• Provide scheduling data for change orders, bid comparisons, and problem resolution.
• Prepare weekly/monthly summary reports for project management leadership.

Job Summary:

Primavera P6 experience required! Candidates must be able to speak to their experience with P6, demonstrate their experiencing using the tool, and be able to apply the knowledge upon interview request.

Seeking Project Schedulers who can manage the full lifestyle of schedule, with combined cycle!

• In conjunction with Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor Scheduler, develop, implement and analyze the master project schedule (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning) to ensure activities are on track to meet project milestones. Integrates and manages owner project schedule submittals into master schedule.
• Responsible for reviewing critical path, lag relationships, constraints, and milestones. Addresses, reviews and corrects any issues with master project schedule to assigned EPC Contractors. Track all project issue specifics as they relate to the master schedule.
• Applies specialized technical knowledge of construction schedules to address/resolve any issues with project team. Act as lead schedule representative. Serve as project schedule subject matter expert and communicate issues up through project team and management. Walk project site and to verify and document the contractors weekly schedule progress.
• Interface with other Supplier Groups to provide scheduling data for change order requests, bid comparisons, and resolving schedule problems. Perform detailed schedule variance analysis via Primavera P6. Liaise with EPC Contractor to develop and maintain project metrics (progress curves, labor histograms, project milestone, issues, etc.) to ensure site project goals are met.
• Provide weekly/monthly summary reports to Project Management leadership team, Site Project Management team.

The knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

• 5-6+ years of experience in construction scheduling direct related experience, preferably with multimillion/billion dollar large industrial projects. Handson proficiency in Primavera (P6) required.
• Experience with Excel, MS Project, and Word.
• Must have experience working with resource loading schedules, contractor generated baseline schedules, time impact analyses, and earned value management reporting.
• Must have a working knowledge of how to read engineering / construction drawings.
• Must understand how project and Supplier workProducts are actually sequenced and constructed.
• Ability to convert schedules from one format to another (i.e. Primavera P6 to Microsoft Project).
• Possess excellent schedule analysis, trouble shooting, and forecasting skills.
