Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Domain Consultant 2 in the United States to analyze client aerospace processes, optimize performance, and document configurations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with industry standards and create SOPs for ongoing operations.

The role requires 4+ years in aerospace fuselage/propulsion structures, CATIA V5, and a solid understanding of aircraft design guidelines. Relocation/travel may be required, and Infosys offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of Aerospace fuselage / propulsion structures / Nacelle engineering / project management experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia v5 preferred).
• Strong understanding of Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic materials.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices.
• Facilitate benchmarking studies, working with stakeholders to align solution performance with industry standards and domain-specific insights.
• Collaborate with technical teams and document system customizations and configurations, drafting SOPs and workflows that align with functional requirements of the relevant sector.
• Conduct in-depth research on third-party products within the domain, providing comparative analysis of features, costs, and scalability.
• Coordinate the implementation of solutions addressing issues during setup and integration, and support in developing and maintaining SOPs, to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices
• Facilitate benchmarking studies, working with stakeholders to align solution performance with industry standards and domain-specific insights
• Collaborate with technical teams and document system customizations and configurations, drafting standard operating procedures and workflows that align with functional requirements of the relevant sector
• Conduct in-depth research on third-party products within the domain, providing comparative analysis of features, costs, and scalability
• Coordinate the implementation of solutions addressing issues during setup and integration, and support in developing and maintaining SOPs, to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation

Required Skill And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
4+ years of Aerospace fuselage / propulsion structures / Nacelle engineering/project management experience.

Strong understanding of Aircraft structures / Nacelles, design guidelines, composite and metallic materials

Preferred Skill And Experience

Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical views that translate raw data into clear operational insights and recommended actions.
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
Familiarity with digital Engineering / PLM tools (SmarTeam, ENOVIA)
Strong/Impactful communication skills to interface with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
