Job summary

Mechanical Products Nevada is seeking an Associate Project Sales Engineer Intern to coordinate submittals, equipment selection, pricing, and ship dates for each project. You will work with Sales Team, Customers and Manufacturers to ensure timely completion and high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, plus knowledge of HVAC, estimating, and CAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required or in progress.
• Knowledge of HVAC, estimating, engineering, construction management or contracting environments is important.
• Experience with MEP consulting, architecture, CAD, general contracting, or construction industry is a plus.
• Strong PC skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job files for each project throughout its duration.
• Optimize the project through product selection, specifications, plans, estimates, proposals, value engineering and redesigns.
• Manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
• Communicate with owners, architects, MEP consultants, and contractors.
• Organize project data for order entry.
• Respond to and track IOM & Submittal requests.
• Read and interpret building plans & specifications.
• Develop and grow relationships with customers, contractors, project engineers and manufacturers.
• Determine project requirements, constraints, and sales team responsibilities.
• Investigate concerns and communicate with customers to maximize satisfaction.
