This role ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company safety standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a safe work environment for all team members.**Key Responsibilities*** Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific safety plans.* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.* Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for project personnel.* Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and corrective action plans.* Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to integrate safety into all phases of construction.* Maintain accurate safety documentation and records.* Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters on the project site.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).* Minimum 5 years of safety experience in heavy civil construction.* Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.* Strong communication and leadership skills.* Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.* Certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30 are highly desirable.**Working Conditions*** Construction Site Environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
