A leading mortgage company is looking for a Project Review Underwriter to review documentation for condominium and cooperative projects for compliance with internal and external guidelines. This remote position requires strong knowledge of mortgage credit policies and excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have a background in mortgage underwriting and experience in customer service.

Summary
The Project Review Underwriter is responsible for reviewing documentation in detail for all new and existing condominium and cooperative projects to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as the requirements of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac credit policies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
No supervisory responsibilities.
Individual must have the ability to read and interpret borrower documentation, company policies, procedures, guidelines, reports and legal documents.
Candidate must be able to use a calculator and perform basic math operations, including rate, ratio, and percent.
Individual must have the ability to define problems, collect pertinent information, determine the facts, and draw valid conclusions.
