Job summary

The L.E. Myers Co. is seeking a Project Procurement Coordinator to assist in preparing pre-qualifications and proposals for electrical construction projects. The role involves coordinating bid boards, tracking estimates, and supporting procurement processes.

You will collaborate with project managers and estimators, maintain documentation, and ensure timely submissions while adhering to company policies and ethics. This position emphasizes accuracy, organization, and professional communication.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of progressively-responsible contracting or construction office experience.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associates degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or similar discipline is preferred.

  • Prepare and maintain bid board/calendar and ensure timely completion of estimates for electric construction projects.
  • Facilitate document procurement and control.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Procurement Coordinator is responsible for assisting in preparing and/or coordinating the preparation of pre-qualifications and/or full proposals on large/small and complex projects as required by client documents. The Coordinator is also responsible for creating/maintaining the flight board (or current method) for visual representation of in-process and future projects.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively-responsible contracting or construction office experience is required

  • High school diploma or GED is required

  • Associates degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Business Administration or similar discipline is preferred


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Bluebeam, InDesign and/or relevant technologies

  • Working knowledge of E1 functionality

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to support multiple project managers/estimators

  • Ability to create A3s

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain professional client interactions before and after bid time

  • Detail oriented

  • Good decision-making skills

  • Proven ability to work with deadlines

  • Salary

    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
