Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking an Associate Director Portfolio Management in East Hanover, NJ for a 1-year assignment with potential extension. The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days onsite.

You will support portfolio planning, governance, and decision-making across technology, digital, data, and business initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, PMO, business operations, strategy, product operations, or similar discipline.
• Experience supporting portfolio planning, prioritization, governance, demand management, or investment management processes.
• Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and decision-support materials.
• Experience providing strategic IT recommendations and supporting technology, digital, CRM, data, or commercial portfolios.
• Familiarity with portfolio management frameworks, demand management, capacity planning, and governance processes.
• Experience working within Agile, Product Operating Model, or matrixed organizational environments.
• Pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio planning, demand management, assessment, prioritization, and governance across technology, digital, data, and business initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, portfolio leaders, and technology organizations to evaluate incoming requests and support portfolio decision-making.
• Analyze strategic alignment, business value, resource requirements, dependencies, risks, and potential impacts to support demand assessment and prioritization.
• Support portfolio planning, capacity analysis, scenario planning, and investment discussions to help align resources with business priorities.
• Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards, reports, executive presentations, and status updates to provide leadership with visibility into portfolio health, priorities, risks, and investments.
• Analyze portfolio data to identify trends, capacity constraints, delivery risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with business, product, technology, and data teams to improve portfolio processes, governance standards, and decision-making.

Job Description:

• Pay: $56 – 88/hr (W2)
• 1-year assignment with potential to extend or convert based on performance and business need
• Hybrid role requiring 2 – 3 days per week onsite
• You will support portfolio planning, demand management, assessment, prioritization, and governance across technology, digital, data, and business initiatives
• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, portfolio leaders, and technology organizations to evaluate incoming requests and support portfolio decision-making
