Job summary

CHASSE Building Team, located in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a Project Manager who will spearhead project operations and ensure successful delivery from start to finish. The ideal candidate will manage documentation, budgets, and schedules, while fostering collaboration with the project team and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Help facilitate project start‑up meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Develop a buyout strategy and review subcontractor scopes.
  • Manage all project documentation including construction drawings and RFIs.
  • Oversee project budget and cost management with the Project Director.
  • Attend design meetings for feedback on project timelines and constructability.
  • Implement LEAN practices with the field team.
  • Support pre‑construction with strategies for project execution.

Job description

CHASSE Building Team is an award‑winning general contractor with offices in Tempe and Tucson, Arizona. Responsibilities
  • Help facilitate project start‑up meetings with the project team. Follow up with interim meetings and action items throughout the project.
  • Develop a buyout strategy with the Project Director and review subcontractor scopes prior to release.
  • Manage all project documentation including construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
  • Manage the project budget. Meet monthly with the Project Director and review job cost status, projected costs, over & under lines, and variance from prior month.
  • Attend design meetings and provide feedback on phasing, constructability, and schedule. Work with pre‑construction to develop cost models and options analysis.
  • Develop a master schedule and phasing approach with the Project Director and superintendent.
  • Work with the field team and Project Engineer to implement LEAN practices. Participate in milestone pull plans and facilitate weekly work plan sessions.
  • Support pre‑construction with schedule & phasing strategy, profit strategy, constructability review, and qualifications.
  • Support pre‑construction in developing and presenting the GMP package. Understand the prime contract conditions and their impact on the GMP deliverable.
  • Work with the Project Director and field staff to solve project challenges.
  • Ensure client expectations are exceeded and the architect’s design intent is delivered.
