Position: Project Manager

Osmose is looking to hire a Project Manager who will plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities related to utility services provided by Osmose. The Project Manager will participate in the conceptual development of projects, oversee organization, scheduling, and implementation, and work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure project objectives align with the contracted scope of work. The role also involves representing Osmose in project meetings.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within company policy and scope specifications.
  • Manage and resolve project issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, workers, and clients.
  • Generate reports on work progress, costs, and scheduling from various data sources.
  • Implement and follow project management processes and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with contract administrators on financial management to protect company interests and maintain good client relationships.
  • Represent the company in customer meetings and participate in strategy discussions.
  • Track and reconcile revenue, costs, accruals, and invoices using cost accounting principles.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related field preferred.
  • 3-7 years of proven Project Management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred:
  • Experience in utility or utility services industry management.
  • PMP/PMI certification.
Physical Demands:

Employees must meet physical requirements such as talking, hearing, standing, walking, climbing stairs, sitting, and using hands. Vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, and focus adjustment. Must lift up to 10 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment is typically moderate noise levels, with accommodations available for disabilities.

Travel:

Moderate travel (25-50%), including some overnight stays.
