The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and collaborative leader with the ability to understand client needs, manage multidisciplinary project teams, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. This individual will be highly organized, attentive to detail, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while guiding projects and motivating team members.
This role offers the opportunity to advise clients on infrastructure improvements and capital planning, contribute to business development efforts, and help expand FPA’s water and wastewater services. The Project Manager will also mentor developing professionals, strengthen key client relationships, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver practical, high-quality solutions.
FPA’s Water/Wastewater Department provides engineering services that help diverse clients maintain, improve, rehabilitate, and expand their water and wastewater infrastructure. Project Managers lead assignments involving public water and sewer systems, supporting clients from infrastructure evaluation and capital planning through design, permitting, bidding, and construction.
The Project Manager – Water & Wastewater will oversee projects of varying size and complexity while managing technical work, financial performance, schedules, risk, and quality. In this role, you will prepare and oversee technical studies and contract documents, coordinate with regulatory and funding agencies, advise clients on project priorities, and work with FPA’s multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful infrastructure improvements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors including experience, education, qualifications, and skill set. FPA recognizes and rewards performance through an annual bonus program.
