How You Will Make An Impact:
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop studies and deliver planning/design services for municipal water and wastewater utilities
- Serve as project manager and/or technical lead for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Perform engineering calculations, develop construction documents, write technical specifications, and coordinate with clients to meet project objectives
- Ensure timely, high-quality project delivery within established budgets
- Support marketing efforts through client interaction and high-performance execution
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, schedules, and budgets for upcoming assignments
- Review and perform QA/QC of project documents, reports, and data
- Mentor junior engineers, technicians, and interns while providing technical oversight
Are You a Project Management Rock Star?
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Masters )
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama or the ability and intent to obtain
- Strong technical background in water/wastewater treatment systems
- Experience leading design teams and coordinating multi-discipline efforts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Engagement in professional and industry organizations (e.g., BCEE, PMP, LEED AP )
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Ability to travel as needed per project requirements
