Responsibilities

  • Prepare complete contract documents (plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates).
  • Conduct meetings, including agendas and minutes.
  • Client contact and coordination with sub-consultants.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and other teams.
  • Assist in assembling supplements, proposals, and engineer's reports.
  • Sign final tracings and meet deadlines.
  • Notify Department Manager of project issues immediately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Department: Water & Wastewater

Reports To: Department Manager

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent

Registration: Professional Engineer in State of Indiana, or ability to obtain within 12 months

Experience: Not less than 8 years in Water & Wastewater Engineering

Duties
  • Efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents, including Plans, Specifications, Quantities, and Estimate
  • Conduct meetings, including composing meeting agendas and minutes
  • Client contact
  • Work with and manage sub-consultants
  • Work with and coordinate with other internal departments
  • Assist in assembling Supplements, Proposals, and Engineer’s Reports
  • Sign Final Tracings
  • Meet deadlines
  • Alert Department Manager immediately upon realization of a problem on a project
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding our clients and company practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Must be able to attend evening meetings with clients as needed
  • Must possess the ability to interact with officials at all levels of government
Physical Requirements
  • Able to work seated for 9 or more hours per work day
  • Able to work 40 or more hours per work week, as needed
  • Able to work outdoors traversing uneven or difficult terrain
  • Able to travel throughout Indiana including overnight stays
Other Requirements
  • Possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
  • Agree to abide by the personnel policies identified in the Company Policy
