Job summary

Garver is looking for a Project Manager to join their Water Team in the Oklahoma region. The Project Manager will focus on water, wastewater, and reuse projects while ensuring client expectations are exceeded. Responsibilities include managing design reports and technical memoranda, coordinating schedules, and overseeing quality control during project execution.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and a minimum of 4 years of technical experience. Candidates should have a strong client service orientation and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of similar technical experience.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE).

Responsibilities

  • Manage design reports, studies, and technical memoranda.
  • Coordinate with other support disciplines and regulating agencies.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control.

Overview

Project Manager - Water
Tulsa, Oklahoma

Garver is seeking a Project Manager in Norman, Tulsa, or Greater Oklahoma City to join our established Oklahoma Region Water Team working on water, wastewater, and reuse specific facility and infrastructure projects. The Project Manager will manage projects consisting of design reports, studies, technical memoranda, detailed plans, and specifications. The Project Manager must be capable of working closely with clients to ensure their expectations of services are exceeded. The Project Manager will also assist the Oklahoma Regional Team Leader in managing and mentoring internal staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring budgets, and ensuring the delivery of quality products that adhere to Garver standardization. This Project Manager will also be included in client meetings and at industry conferences on behalf of Garver and the Water Business Line.

Responsibilities
  • Water conveyance and distribution, including pump stations and storage facilities
  • Wastewater conveyance and collection, including lift stations and force mains
  • Pipeline inspection and rehabilitation
  • Water, Wastewater, Reuse master planning
  • Water, Wastewater, Reuse treatment facilities and infrastructure

In addition to design, this role will include coordination with other support disciplines, coordination with regulating agencies, and quality assurance and quality control. Periodic travel will be required on an as-needed basis for projects, conferences, marketing, and other duties.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • 4 or more years of similar technical experience
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE)
Preferred
  • Passionate about client service and the water industry
  • Strong work ethic and strong communication skills
  • Masters’ Degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited program
