Project Manager vacancy in Remote, Midlands based covering the UK (262jc)

Project Manager (262jc) – Remote, Midlands based covering the UK – up to £55k + car + Benefits

This client, one of the UK’s leading companies in Fuel Storage Solutions, is looking for a RE Pet Op SNCO or equivalent to join their expanding team due to increasing projects.

You will report to the Commercial Manager and be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and monitoring all aspects of specific projects, ensuring their safe delivery.

Responsibilities include:
  • Visiting clients to understand needs and providing accurate, commercially viable quotes.
  • Managing projects from award to completion, including creating and revising work plans.
  • Assigning resources and managing daily operations.
  • Collaborating with customers and suppliers, and reporting project status.
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance and updating CRM regularly.
  • Delivering work within budget, conducting site visits, and reporting progress.
  • Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and conducting risk assessments.
  • Ensuring compliance with site rules and improving safety standards.
  • Reporting faults and assisting with training as needed.
Qualifications and skills:
  • IT literate
  • Strong decision-making and resource management skills
  • Active listener with good interpersonal skills
  • Prince 2, CSCS, or SMSTS certifications desirable
  • SC clearance preferred
  • Willingness to stay overnight occasionally

The ideal candidate likely has experience in design and construction of fuel facilities, possibly from a Royal Engineer or RAF/RN background. SC clearance is advantageous.

Salary ranges from £45-55k plus benefits including a car, leave, insurance, health benefits, and ongoing support.
