Job summary

AECOM in Dallas, TX seeks a Project Manager V to lead multi‑project delivery from pre‑construction through warranty. You will organize construction activities with clients and vendors, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with design, budget, schedule and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating tests and inspections, reviewing pay applications, and guiding the project team. Expect interaction across stakeholders with potential travel across the U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage complex construction projects across pre-construction to closeout.

  • Coordinates with the General Contractor for tests and inspections and delivers reports.
  • Reviews punch lists and certifies substantial completion.
  • Monitors progress, logs RFIs and submittals, and provides engineering support.
  • Coordinates project meetings with the project team and with Project Controls.
  • Reviews and approves Pay Applications.
  • Documents conditions of stored materials and related insurances.

Project Manager V to be based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Manages all activities associated with assigned projects including pre‑construction, design, construction phasing, closeout coordination, occupancy, and warranty enforcement for multiple construction projects (new construction and renovation).
  • Organizes and coordinates construction activities with the client and client vendors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Understands scheduling and critical milestone activities, the logic of the schedule, and basic construction means and methods.
  • Plans and organizes reports, reviewing documentation from multiple project teams.
  • May provide technical direction and guidance to others as needed while administering client policies, maintaining close interface with the project team, and ensuring all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Coordinates with the General Contractor to schedule all tests and inspections required by the contract documents or governmental authorities and arranges delivery of test and inspection reports to the Owner and Architect.
  • Reviews punch list items submitted by others and verifies that they have been completed and corrected prior to recommending substantial completion to the Owner.
  • Monitors construction work progress, processes field construction documentation (RFI and submittal validation and logging), and provides engineering support and coordination of construction field activities with inspectors.
  • Coordinates with the general contractor on required meetings and attends all site‑based meetings.
  • Coordinates project documentation with Project Controls (cost and schedule) reviewers.
  • Reviews, provides comments on, and fully approves Pay Applications.
  • Reviews and documents conditions of any off‑site stored materials, including gathering required insurances and bills of sale for Owner‑supporting Pay Application review and approval on behalf of the Owner.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning, construction management or related field.
  • Fifteen years in construction.
