Expedia Group’s Partner Marketing team is dedicated to developing and executing innovative and effective global marketing campaigns. Within this organization, the Creative Project Management team ensures the flawless operation and organization of our Brand + Creative teams and their projects, including annual and quarterly forecasting, resourcing, and prioritization. We are seeking a passionate and highly organized individual to join our team as a contract Creative Project Manager focused on our cross line-of-business pod, which will include a variety of campaigns under our Expedia Group brand umbrella. This is a temporary 6-month assignment.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Flawlessly manage creative projects end-to-end, from initiation and definition through delivery.
  • Steward the day-to-day management of our most complex production projects, serving as a key point of contact for cross-functional partners.
  • Develop full-scale project plans, including new scopes of work, timelines, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain oversight of all active projects, feeding weekly leadership status reports and serving as the primary POC for all Partner Brand + Creative project updates and inquiries.
  • Drive integrated project timelines, ensuring all milestones and due dates are communicated clearly and frequently to internal teams and external agency partners.
  • Schedule creative reviews and team meetings, ensuring efficient use of time, the right attendees, and detailed follow-up notes.
  • Anticipate and manage potential blockers across concept development, production, and delivery phases, proactively finding solutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with team members and external agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Partner with production and brand counterparts on localization and legal processes, ensuring geo-specific nuances are addressed during production and in final assets.
  • Consolidate asset requests and delivery specs across media, ensuring accurate file delivery and final archiving.
  • Partake in annual and quarterly forecasting for campaign priorities, maintaining alignment on changing scopes and ensuring timely project kick-offs.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and implement tools/processes that improve efficiency and consistency across the Partner Brand team.
  • Champion innovative production ideas that support creative excellence while ensuring commercial success.
  • Drive the creative agenda by contributing insights and delivery solutions that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications of the Project Manager:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of creative project management and/or production experience running a large brand refresh initiative and roll out.
  • A solid understanding of marketing campaigns and localization processes, with expertise in managing creative projects across all production and media channels (broadcast, digital, audio, social, print, OOH, web, etc).
  • Skilled at managing large, cross-functional teams and driving alignment across complex projects.
  • Experience with Smart Sheet (status tracking, building dashboards/automations.
  • Experience with creative tools such as Figma, Adobe, and Creative Cloud.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Thrives on maintaining organization, finding efficiencies, and simplifying complex workflows.
  • Demonstrates resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
  • Capable of balancing multiple priorities while ensuring attention to detail and high-quality output.
  • Communicates effectively and concisely, tailoring messages to the audience.
  • A brilliant pathfinder and problem solver, consistently demonstrating ownership and proactivity.
  • Experienced with project management software/tools and driving teams to adopt best practices.
  • Passionate about identifying areas of improvement through team feedback, retrospectives, and metrics, and implementing meaningful changes.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies (e.g., delays, creative misalignment, or stakeholder resistance).
  • Experience troubleshooting and managing unforeseen challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with brand guidelines, identity systems, and creative processes.
  • Experience in overseeing the creation of assets such as logos, templates, photography, and messaging frameworks.
