Project Manager - Transportation / Roadway Civil Engineer

KEITH is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm seeking a self-motivated and experienced Project Manager / Civil Engineer with roadway experience to join our Transportation team in Miami, FL. The successful candidate must have FDOT design experience, as they will work on FDOT projects, and should possess knowledge of fundamental engineering processes for planning, design, production, and construction of engineering projects. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to produce complex design plans and reports is essential.

What you'll do:

• Develop detailed designs
• Prepare and implement project plans
• Research and provide estimates for projects
• Review government regulations and ordinances
• Make recommendations or present alternative solutions to problems
• Acquire basic knowledge and develop skills in specific practice areas
• Apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to assigned tasks
• Exercise limited judgment on work details and standard methods
• Perform basic design tasks
• Assign tasks to and coordinate with technicians or administrative staff
• Receive close supervision on complex problems, with general review of work
• Interact with staff, the public, officials, and contractors

What you'll need:

• Florida EIT or PE license preferred
• Experience with Microstation and/or ORD
• FDOT design experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Bluebeam
• Ability to produce roadway plans
• Independent, proactive, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills, with ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
