We are seeking a Transportation Project Manager (PE) to join our Charlotte team, dedicated to fostering safe, sustainable, and beautiful communities. In this role, you will lead design teams and contribute to team development and business growth. Join a reputable firm with over 75 years of experience providing community infrastructure solutions across the Midwest, Southeast, and beyond.

What You Will Be Doing

1. Cultivate client relationships in transportation markets to support business growth.
2. Manage transportation project design and delivery, including roadway, drainage, traffic, and preservation design for DOT, Counties, and Cities.
3. Collaborate with contractors and owners on innovative construction staging approaches.
4. Lead and mentor junior staff to develop their technical skills.

What We Are Looking For

1. Bachelor’s degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited university.
2. Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina.
3. At least 8 years of highway design experience.
4. Strong understanding of DOT design standards.
5. Experience managing and mentoring staff.
6. Proven skills in project management, proposal development, and business development.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Valid driver’s license.
