Join our dynamic Security & Safety team as a Project Manager specializing in transportation and transit security projects! You'll lead groundbreaking initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring safety compliance and delivering impactful results.

This position can be fully remote, but preference will be given to candidates in the following metro areas:

• Oakland, CA
• Sacramento, CA
• Portland, OR
• Seattle, WA

Responsibilities include:

1. Project Development: Champion project opportunities with strategic evaluations, craft compelling proposals, deliver persuasive client presentations, and negotiate contract terms.
2. Strategic Initiation and Planning: Lead project setup, implement document control protocols, and develop comprehensive Project Execution Plans (PEPs).
3. Project Execution: Initiate projects, coordinate teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure regular communication.
4. Project Control: Manage finances, develop schedules, navigate changes, and ensure smooth project closeout.
5. Technical Expertise: Develop safety and security documentation, apply innovative methodologies, and prepare reports and presentations.
6. Additional Opportunities: Work with leadership on strategic initiatives, represent projects at industry events, and contribute to marketing and business development.

Minimum requirements:

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
2. PE, PMP, or relevant certification is strongly recommended.
3. 10+ years of experience in transportation or rail safety projects.
4. Strong project management skills and understanding of regulatory frameworks.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
6. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules effectively.
