• Licensed professional registration in Tennessee, or the ability to obtain licensing within six months.
• Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE), preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with progressive traffic / transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead traffic engineering projects and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to develop design plans and studies.
• Utilize traffic engineering software and visualization tools to support analyses.
• Provide guidance on traffic signal design plans, timing, corridor and safety studies.

Locations: Nashville, Murfreesboro, Chattanooga (TN), Huntsville, Birmingham (AL).

Do you have a firm understanding of traffic engineering principles?

Do you have project‑related experience with traffic signal design plans, signal timing, corridor studies, traffic impact studies, traffic operation studies, traffic control plans, traffic simulation modeling, roundabout studies, and safety studies AND a working knowledge of the latest traffic engineering and simulation programs such as HCS, Synchro, PTV Vistro/VISSIM and SIDRA?

Minimum Requirements

• BSCE from an ABET–accredited university.
• Licensed professional registration in Tennessee, or the ability to obtain licensing within six months.
