Make impact as a Project Manager in SW Development

Project Manager – SW Development Uncrewed Platforms (UP)

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our Uncrewed Platform programs as a Project Manager for SW Development. You will work with a great team of world-class developers in multiple technical disciplines and participate in both planning and execution of sea testing outside Horten and other Kongsberg locations.

What you will be doing

  • Oversee the SW development for products within Uncrewed Platform programs and coordinate with software and hardware teams
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Tracking status, resources, financial and risk management in the projects
  • Maintaining compliance with all associated KD Management System processes
  • Controlling and managing the project budget, providing monthly progress status and finance reports
  • Interfacing with both our internal and external stakeholders

We think you should have

  • BSc / MSc Computer Science, Cybernetics, or a related field
  • Project Management experience with larger SW development projects
  • Knowledge in SW development of safety critical software to the maritime industry
  • Experience with SW development within the defense sector
  • Experience with Project Management tools like MS Project, Primavera
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Axapta) is an advantage
  • Experience with Quality Systems like ISO and AQAP is an advantage
  • Familiar with Software Quality Standards
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Norwegian and English
