Job summary

Noble Energy in Denver seeks a Project Manager – Sustainability to lead strategy execution and reporting across multiple sustainability initiatives, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external partners. You will establish a project management framework, drive ESG data collection and reporting (GHG, CSRD, CDP), and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, preferably in a sustainability / ESG / social responsibility setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, project management, or related fields; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years in the field of project management and/or sustainability.
  • Experience within the Oil & Gas industry and/or Energy sector is a plus.
  • Strong ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops while prioritizing activities that advance program goals in the short and long term.

Responsibilities

  • Own sustainability deliverables within the Sustainability function, including initiatives based on Noble’s sustainability framework.
  • Establish and track a comprehensive sustainability project management framework, including tools, processes, and guidelines for successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with initiative working teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines, and create project plans to ensure successful implementation.
  • Manage and oversee multiple sustainability projects simultaneously, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams – including OE, operations, finance, supply chain, and HR – to integrate sustainability considerations into business processes and practices.

Project Manager – Sustainability

Noble is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager – Sustainability with a strong focus on strategy execution and reporting. In this role you will facilitate and manage several sustainability initiatives and projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to develop and implement sustainable practices that drive environmental and social impact and achieve our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own sustainability deliverables within the Sustainability function, including initiatives based on Noble’s sustainability framework.
  • Establish and track a comprehensive sustainability project management framework, including tools, processes, and guidelines for successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with initiative working teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines, and create project plans to ensure successful implementation.
  • Manage and oversee multiple sustainability projects simultaneously, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams – including OE, operations, finance, supply chain, and HR – to integrate sustainability considerations into business processes and practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements to drive collaboration and ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up to date with relevant sustainability standards and reporting frameworks, including GHG accounting and reporting principles.
  • Support ongoing data collection, measurement, monitoring, and reporting of ESG performance data, including reporting requirements such as CSRD and voluntary reporting such as CDP.
Qualifications
  • Experience in project management, preferably in a sustainability / ESG / social responsibility setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, project management, or related fields. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years in the field of project management and/or sustainability.
  • Previous experience within the Oil & Gas industry and/or Energy sector is a plus.
  • Strong ability to facilitate stakeholder discussions and workshops while prioritizing activities that advance program goals in the short and long term, with a solution‑oriented approach.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and software.
  • Strong experience with using data and technology, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Power BI, and comfort working with large data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing sustainability‑related projects, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, supply chain sustainability, or social impact initiatives, is highly desirable.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in reporting.
