A leader in surveying and design services is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multidisciplinary projects in oil and gas development. The ideal candidate will manage project scopes, ensure compliance, and build strong client relationships. This position offers remote flexibility, competitive compensation, and a clear growth path with mentorship from senior staff. Join us to help drive the future of energy infrastructure.
At Ascent Geomatics Solutions, the Project Manager (PM) leads and coordinates multidisciplinary projects that directly support upstream and midstream oil and gas development. Our project scopes include boundary and topographic surveys, aerial mapping and LiDAR deliverables, pipeline and facility routing, pad and access road civil design, and permitting with state and federal agencies. The PM is not expected to execute these technical tasks directly-each scope is managed by survey, GIS, design, and permitting leads-but the PM is accountable for integrating their work into cohesive project plans and deliverables.
The PM ensures projects are delivered on scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining strong client relationships. This includes supporting proposals and estimates, coordinating across technical teams, tracking progress in project management systems, and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects. Success in this role requires experience managing surveying, civil design, and permitting scopes in support of oil and gas projects, ideally grounded in prior hands-on work within professional services delivering these disciplines.
Project Managers at Ascent start with close collaboration and review from senior staff, building knowledge of our business and client expectations. As proficiency grows, the PM assumes increasing independence while remaining part of a collaborative culture dedicated to technical quality, client satisfaction, and profitable project delivery.
Join Ascent Geomatics Solutions and help deliver the surveying, mapping, design, and permitting services that drive the future of energy infrastructure.
