Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced supplier management professional to lead the definition and optimization of supplier management processes across procurement, engineering, and quality groups.

You will educate stakeholders on decision paths and risks, perform trade studies, develop process documentation and training materials, and drive organizational change to enhance supplier performance and enterprise supply chain capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing/procurement, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in program and project management and leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support defining and refining supplier management processes with stakeholders.
• Guide on terminology, methodologies and best practices in supplier management.
• Develop supplier management architecture and recommend solutions.
• Conduct trade studies and recommend process and technology improvements.
• Document assumptions, issues, action items, and agreements with internal teams.
• Educate stakeholders on supplier management decision paths, risks, and benefits.
• Collaborate with engineering, contracting, procurement, and quality teams.
