Job description

We are in search of a skilled Construction Superintendent/Project Manager, familiar with disaster restoration. Restoration projects will range from minor patching and painting to total loss restoration and reconstruction. The ideal candidate will have excellent construction knowledge and strong managerial qualities. This position requires extensive organization and the ability to effectively and profitably manage several construction projects simultaneously. Professionalism is paramount.

Job sites will be throughout the DC Metro area.

The Project Manager will be responsible for completing restoration projects on multi-family, single-family, and commercial buildings. The position offers a competitive salary, based on experience.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
  • Obtain customer selections for materials to be installed
  • Manage restoration and reconstruction projects efficiently
  • Ensure safety compliance on all sites

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in restoration and reconstruction
  • Previous experience in construction management or related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
