Confident Search Consultants seeks a Project Manager/Superintendent for custom home new construction in Fredericksburg, VA. You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate with owners, and lead onsite teams to deliver high-quality homes.

The role offers a competitive salary of $80-85k DOE plus a bonus per home completed, plus 401K, paid vacation days, insurance, and a car allowance of $12k per year. This position supports career growth from PM to regional leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in custom residential construction.
• Managing 5–10 projects concurrently with costs $390k–$550k (or higher).
• Strong leadership and excellent communication with customers/owners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple custom home projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with owners, subcontractors and internal teams to align expectations.
• Lead site operations, safety, quality control and schedule adherence.

A Regional single-family Custom Home Builder with a small-company feel & extensive company support staff in place to help with all employee tasks at the local level. They work in 50+ offices across 12 states and work directly with the local clients to build custom homes in affordable niche.

Basic Qualifications

• Candidate will have 5 + years experience in custom residential construction (preferably in scattered lot or running multiple projects in various locations).
• Managing multiple projects (5-10 typically) at one time with average construction costs running $390k up to $550k (or higher)
• 5+ year proven track record of successful operations & project leadership and within New Construction.
• Candidate will need to express good team-building skills & excellent communications abilities with customers/owners.

Compensation and Benefits
