Job summary

American Airlines in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Project Manager/Sr Project Manager to lead Technology Solutions initiatives within the Next-Gen Operations Program. You will coordinate delivery, manage resources, and partner with Product Owners and IT to align work with strategic goals.

The role requires strong Agile experience, stakeholder communication, and the ability to drive roadmaps, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver dashboards with Power BI and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training.
• 5+ years' experience as Project Manager or similar position in a software development environment.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps, Rally, JIRA or similar tools to manage IT projects in an Agile environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects in a variety of computing environments (i.e. SaaS, cloud, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience converting high-level business needs/requirements into system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drives automation and execution of key deliverables to ensure timely and effective implementation of strategic outcomes.
• Interacts with leadership to help set direction and prioritizetechnology initiatives.
• Collaboratively creates product roadmaps, contributing inputs from stakeholders. Influences stakeholder expectations for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities.
• Serves as a point of contact for Product Owners and IT partners to ensure team actions remain aligned.
• Builds processes to improve the team's overall efficiency.
• Effectively communicates status to stakeholders including various levels of leadership.
