ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a Project Manager to drive design/build projects in the entertainment sector from Downers Grove, IL. You will lead preconstruction, budgeting, and procurement, coordinating with clients and the design team to deliver scalable, high-quality projects.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years' of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout.
• Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget.
• Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review scope, discuss cost-saving ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure material and/or equipment directly when advantageous to budget or schedule.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop schedules, scopes of work, and site logistics plans.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings and on-site coordination to address constructability and manpower issues.
• Lead weekly/bi-weekly owner meetings to review progress and challenges.
• Track project performance vs budget and prepare pay applications and progress reports.
• Maintain focus on delivering a high-quality, safe, and enjoyable experience for clients and partners.

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager who is passionate about the design/build construction process to join our Entertainment team based in Downers Grove, IL. A Day in the Life:

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout
• Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget
• Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, provide value engineering ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors
• Identify and investigate opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment directly when advantageous to project budget or schedule
• Work with Project Superintendent to develop and review subcontractor scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with all designers, subcontractors and vendors aimed at solving potential constructability, sequencing, and/or manpower issues
• Lead weekly/bi-weekly OAC meetings on-site once construction begins to review progress and address challenges directly with client
• Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare owner pay applications, cost status, and progress billing reports
• Most importantly…find a way to make the construction process FUN for your clients, subcontractors, and vendors without sacrificing on QUALITY or SAFETY!!!

Necessary Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years' of construction management or engineering design experience
• Previous experience leading ground up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects is preferred
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

Typical base compensation for the Project Manager role is between $84,000.00 and $160,000.00. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.
