Summary

Balfour Beatty in Atlanta seeks a Special Project Group (SPG) Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction project. In this position, the incumbent directs and supervises activities related to contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial projections, and schedule requirements to ensure projects are completed with quality, profitable, adhering to our Safety/Zero Harm culture.

Essential Functions

• Estimating – Conceptual to Hard Bidding
• Project Scheduling
• Project Administration, Operations, and Close-out
• Promote Customer and Community Relations
• Foster Positive Culture, Leadership and Employee Development
• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Seven years or more of commercial construction experience in project management.
• Threeyears or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management, including writing subcontracts.
• Experience with project manager software (Procore, P6, Timberline, etc.).
• Experience with cost projection, financialanalysis, budget reviews, labor reports.

PreferredRequirements

• A proven background in interior renovation and small project experience <$20 million highly desired.
• Supervises and develops direct reports while prioritizing and delegating significant responsibilities to others.
• Demonstrates leadership skills with the ability and willingness to face challenges, solve problems, and motivate others while maintaining relationships with customers by meeting or exceeding their expectations and requirements.
• Solid presentation, written, and verbal skills.
