Project Manager - Small On-Site

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple small to mid-size EPC projects simultaneously
• Support new plant proposals as required
• Recognize problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent
• Evaluate alternatives and find solutions using a systematic approach, developing improvements and innovations to enhance project performance
• Leverage the organization to achieve objectives and strategically position projects for short‑ and long‑term goals
• Proactively engage present and future stakeholders in design, priority setting and implementation
• Analyze risk and future impact of decisions
• Monitor entire project execution life cycle for compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations
• Coordinate all work within the scope of assigned projects and ensure objectives are met within budget
• Organize, plan and prioritize the work of the project team and self
• Perform project engineering work as needed
• Interact with contractors during field installation
• Interface with key stakeholders including business, operations and customers
• Manage safety and quality programs related to projects
• Prepare detailed project plans and control elements of the plan
• Influence team members and promote ideas to improve design practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• Experience in Field Construction Management is a plus
• Understanding of construction contracting and contracts management
• Understanding of construction and commissioning safety
• Experience in engineering, construction, commissioning or start‑up of oxygen and nitrogen gas plants is a plus
• PMP certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits
